This is an abbreviated list of design. I didn't want to include foods you wouldn't necessarily come across in your daily life. 

Foods are broken up into 4 Categories:

  • Protein
  • Carbohydrates
  • Fats/Oils
  • Herbs/Spices/Sauces)

Each food's nutritional value on the Spectrum is based on them as a whole food, including: Macronutrients, Micronutrients, Essential Fats, Vitamins, Minerals, and Phytochemicals.

For each Macronutrient The Ultimate Food Spectrum categorizes them into food choices:

  • Superior
  • Suitable
  • Second-Rate
  • Shoddy
